ToolPuff Micro Loop (“the Extension”) is a Chrome extension developed by ToolPuff.
This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension handles and how it is used.
1. Summary
ToolPuff Micro Loop is designed to show lightweight learning overlays while you browse (vocabulary, code snippets, trivia, affirmations).
The Extension stores your preferences and custom content so your setup works consistently across sessions.
2. Data We Handle
The Extension may store the following user-provided or user-generated data in Chrome extension storage (chrome.storage):
- Module settings (enabled/disabled, timing, position, color preferences)
- Selected libraries and custom library items
- Hidden items (items you chose not to show again)
- Backup/import-export related configuration data
3. Data We Do Not Collect
ToolPuff Micro Loop does not collect, sell, or transfer the following to ToolPuff servers:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, phone, etc.)
- Financial/payment information
- Authentication credentials (passwords, PINs)
- Personal communications
- Health information
- Precise location data
- Browsing history for analytics or profiling purposes
The Extension does not include account login, telemetry, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs.
4. How Data Is Used
Stored data is used only to operate the Extension’s single purpose:
- Display overlays according to your settings
- Save your custom libraries and hidden items
- Support import/export and backup restore workflows
Data is not used for unrelated profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or advertising.
5. Permissions
The Extension uses:

6. Remote Code
ToolPuff Micro Loop does not use remote executable code.
All JavaScript/CSS required to run the Extension is packaged with the extension.
7. Data Sharing
ToolPuff does not sell or transfer Extension user data to third parties, except where required by applicable law.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Data remains in your browser’s extension storage (and Chrome Sync storage if sync is enabled on your account) until you:
- Change/reset settings
- Remove imported/custom items
- Uninstall the Extension
- Clear extension storage via browser controls
9. Children
The Extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When updated, we will revise the effective date on this page.
