Privacy Policy for ToolPuff PromptVault

This policy applies to the Chrome extension ToolPuff PromptVault and related pages on toolpuff.com.

The extension may process the following user-provided data:

• Prompt content you save
• Selected text you choose to save as a prompt
• Prompt metadata (title, tags, category, collections/folders, template variables)
• Basic usage metadata (for example, usage count, updated time)
• Imported/exported backup data (JSON), when you choose to use that feature

Data is used only to provide the extension’s core purpose: prompt management.

• Save and organize prompts
• Reuse prompts via copy/insert flows
• Filter/search/sort prompts
• Import/export your backup files

By default, data is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local.

• We do not require a cloud account for the current version.
• We do not upload your prompt library to ToolPuff servers in the current local-only version.

• storage: store your prompts/settings locally
• contextMenus: allow “Save to PromptVault” from right-click
• Host permissions on supported AI chat sites: only to enable /puff quick insert in chat input areas

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not transfer your data to third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes.
• We do not use data for creditworthiness or lending decisions.

You control your data.

• You can edit/delete prompts and collections at any time.
• You can export your data as JSON.
• You can remove the extension to stop further local processing.
• You can clear browser extension storage via Chrome settings.

We apply reasonable measures to protect extension data. No system is 100% secure, but we minimize data access and keep processing limited to required features.

The extension is not intended for children under 13.
